viledblogtitle MycroBurst now has Veiled Projects!

We’re making another upgrade to MycroBurst.com!  Thanks to your feedback, we were able to make this upgrade option possible!

MycroBurst will now offer that project holders can host Veiled Projects!

What is the Veiled Project upgrade?

This upgrade allows designs submitted to a project to be unseen to most people.  While designers will be able to see the designs they upload but no other designer’s designs will be visible to them.

Only the project holder can see all designs submitted to their project.  Anyone else who views a Veiled Project will not be able to see submitted designs.

Why go Veiled?

Upgrading to host a Veiled Project holds several benefits for the project holder!  When designs are hidden from other designers you are assured that each design that is submitted is original.  This also prevents duplicated entries.

Promoting creativity from designers will ensure your designs will truly be one-of-a-kind.  It also encourages a fair and high quality competition.  With a Veiled Project there will be no copying of designs between designers.

Here’s what a Veiled Project looks like from a project holder’s perspective:

All designers will still be able to see general comments you leave for them at the bottom of the project.  It is crucial to keep continued conversation so designers know that they are reaching your ultimate design goal.

This is what a Veiled Project’s general comment section will look like:

Veiled Projects are also a benefit for designers!

As a designer, you may be concerned that your designs could be copied or recreated throughout a contest.  Submitting drafts to a Veiled Project assures that there will be no copies of custom designs.

Submitting to a Veiled Project guarantees a fair competition and provides designers with an outlet to be fully creative throughout the entire length of the project.

How do you upgrade?

It’s easy!  To add the Veiled Project upgrade, you must have started a design project at MycroBurst.

You then Log-In and head to the “My Projects” section.  You will see your live projects listed here.

Next to the project name, you will click “Upgrade” and select the “Veiled Project” option.

Once you click “Proceed” at the bottom of the screen, you’ll pay for the upgrade and your project will be seen as a Veiled Project!

As you can see, upgrading to a Veiled Project will enable your designs to be as creative as possible.  Questions?  Feel free to contact us! Email – phone

blog2banner MycroBurst Receives Excellent Review!

Here at MycroBurst we love hearing about our customer’s experiences with our site and designers.

Recently we received feedback from Terry Jones, the Founder and Former CEO of Travelocity, Chairmain of Kayak.com and business strategy speaker.

Take a look at what he had to say about his experience:

“I’ve been very intrigued by the crowdsourcing model, and found MycroBurst to be a very powerful way to source design services. It was much less expensive than traditional design methods, extremely fast, and overall, quite good. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and colleagues.”

Thank you so much for your kind words!

If you had a great experience with MycroBurst and our designers, please feel free to tell us about your experience.  We’d love to hear all bout your success!

a2 How to Get More out of Your Online Design Contest – 5 Quick Tips

Sometimes contest holders are not entirely happy with their contest response. They fear that their time is being wasted as they are not getting ample designs and the designers fail to grasp their vision. While we do offer a detailed Guide to Launching a Successful Design Project in out help section, I thought it would be best to address the immediate concerns our clients have here.

Here are a couple of Quick Tips that will help you in getting the most out of your design contest:

1. Create Attraction:

Contests that offer guaranteed attractive prizes are likely to engage more designers. Better prize money and a guarantee on it only goes to show that you appreciate the time and hard work that designers will be putting in the design concept.

2. Be Specific & Clear:

Make sure that your guidelines are clear for the designers. Provide examples if necessary and offer as much information as you can.

3. Provide Feedback:

Actively provide feedback to designers participating in your contest. Don’t just look at designs; give some response as well. Remember, every designer who enters your contest is worthy of respect.

4. Invite Designers:

Like a designer’s winning logo? Don’t wait! Go ahead and invite designers who inspire you from other contests.

5. Rate & Elaborate:

Encourage the designers with positive feedback. Post comments on and give star ratings to the designs you like.

In the end it all comes down to active participation and feedback. When you provide clear cut directions, actively offer encouragement and feedback, designers will be able to understand your criteria better and produce winning designs. Following the given tips will not only help you to get more out of your design contest but will also ensure great results.
