You may have noticed some big changes to the MycroBurst website recently.  We’ve improved the website with a colorful new design, as selected by our Redesign the MycroBurst website contest. The biggest change, however, is the new video describing what MycroBurst is and how it works.

Producing the video was a very creative and interactive process. We found a crowdsourced video production website, similar to MycroBurst, but for videos. We filled out a creative brief, posted our prize, and during the two weeks our project was open, we received 10 pitches from a wide variety of animators and videographers, who were interested in our project.  In the end, we felt the best match for our company was the work of Kasra Design, which is located in Malaysia.  Previous projects completed by Kasra Design used humorous but effective animation.

The next step for producing our video was to write the script and create a voice-over. We wrote the script in-house, and hired a fantastic voice-over artist named Sagie Kleinlerer to read and record the script. Sagie, a native new Yorker who is currently living in California, is a lawyer who practices intellectual property law. He does voice-over work on the weekends because he loves it.  Apart from the new MycroBurst video, Sagie has done narration and voice-overs for other websites, and even a commercial that currently airs on PBS.

After we received the voice over files from Sagie, we passed them on to Kasra Design. Within a few days, we had the first draft of the first half of the video. Soon after, the video was finished. We loved working with Kasra Design and their talented CEO Alex Safavinia. They had a very quick turnaround time and the video he created for us is very unique and creative.  We love Kasra Design so much, we want to promote them for anyone else needs a 2D or 3D animated video:
